Do not go to Armando’s Transmission Everyone in the same plaza as him says, he does not really know how to work on them and have cars up there for months. Service was horrible and he kept my car for a little over 6 months with NO WORK DONE! Kept telling me β€œnext week” β€œ I’m working on other cars and it’s just me” I paid $2800 literally for no work done

Amazing work and service! My car started making a scary sound this past Thursday and couldn't get it past 20mph. A friend of mine recommended this shop and to ask for Omar. He was very professional, understanding and straight forward the entire time. Pricing was very reasonable and am happy to be back on the road.

Horrible experience. I paid $2500 in May 2025 He called me two weeks later stating my car was ready, and when I went to pick it up, it was still slipping out of drive Like he didn't even work on it at all. I left my car there and he kept saying next week or the week after that at this point it has been four months. When I asked for a refund, he stated he couldn't in my bank couldn't do a dispute because he only takes Zelle. I just pick my car up from him and took it to a different shop. Very unprofessional. All of the other shops around him will tell you he does not know how to work on transmissions

I’ve never had a transmission serviced so I figured I’d try out armando who was referred to me. Not only was he a great outstanding guy, he communicated very effectively and kept me up to date with the process of rebuilding my transmission. He also removed any fears I had through his professionalism, I tend not to be trustworthy but he made sure I trusted the process and his work spoke for itself. 10/10 will recommend to anyone because he left my transmission shifting smoothly and back on the road in a reasonable time. Will come back if I need any work done and will recommend to anyone.

Keep in mind this place is super busy, you may have to wait for an appointment - I had to wait about a week, but in my situation, I had that option and it was well worth it. It took 7 days for transmission rebuild in a Ford 150, which is exactly what he communicated. Customer service is great and there’s a reason this shop is so busy - price was very competitive as well. He asked to bring the truck back in a few days to check it out again once it’s been driven to make sure everything is as it should be - very pleasant experience and would definitely use this shop again -
